你是否想身体力行支持有意思的非营利项目，却碍于没有资金和不知如何评估，始终裹足不前？
益启慈善(PIM)致力于为更多的年轻人提供慈善教育资源与资金，用科学的评估体系发现具潜力的公益组织和社会企业，实现社会效益与影响力Z大化。
是的，我们相信，每一个怀抱社会理想的你，都可以成为慈善家。2015年夏天，益启慈善（PIM）将继续与香港大学合作举办“模拟基金会”。该项目将汇聚来自香港，中国大陆和美国的青年人，共同探索如何有效参与公益。
参与者将扮演基金会委员的角色，评估数家在中国致力于青少年发展的公益组织，并共同决定如何分配一笔总额达20,000美元的PIM专设基金，给于他们认为是富有创新力和影响力的组织。
参与者亦将有机会在这些公益组织实习，提供服务或者技术上的支持。
项目将主要以英语进行。
2015年7月1日－8月9日: 网上培训和实地调查。
在会议期间，学生将进行圆桌讨论，共同决定如何将一笔总额达20,000美元的PIM专设基金分配给候选NGO。此外，会议将包括以下环节：
5）一个由慈善家和社会领袖组成的评判组将对评估结果和捐赠方案作出点评
除了参加网上慈善培训课程，学生可以报名在暑假期间由PIM安排在各个NGO、社会企业、基金会、影响力投资公司等机构实习或进行咨询服务。学生可以根据各机构的需求作出以下类型的贡献：
1）调查中国的慈善现况，深入了解中国NGO的状态, 并且探讨在中国实行有效慈善的可行方式；
2）针对青少年发展，通过亲身考察和实地评估不同的公益项目，制定一个实际的捐赠方案；
3）连结其他热衷于慈善的社会领袖和学生, 成为社会创新和改变的一股力量；
4）通过实践和在NGO实习，贡献并且提升自己的专业技术和才能；
5）推动PIM的宗旨：任何人在任何年龄都可以参与慈善，创造有意义的社会影响。
项目地点：前期为培训及调研，之后有6天在香港大学开研讨会。
Model Foundation 2015 Recruitment
Do you have a passion for public interest and philanthropy, but do not know how to pursue this in face of complex realities on the ground?Do you want to support meaningful social initiatives, but feel that you lack sufficient financial resources as well as knowledge to evaluate and determine the best projects to work on? Philanthropy in Motion (PIM) provides funding and training to young people to become intelligent givers. Using our evaluation framework, you can analyze and determine the nonprofits and social enterprises that will allow you to maximize your impact. We believe that each and every one of us can be a philanthropist. This upcoming summer, PIM is partnering with The University of Hong Kong to organize Model Foundation. Model Foundation brings together university students to engage in intelligent, charitable giving through directly experiencing the grant-making process of a foundation. Acting as Grant Committee Officers, students will learn how to evaluate China-based NGOs with youth development initiatives and make strategic decisions on how to distribute a PIM fund of 20,000 USD to organizations that they deem to be innovative and impactful.While contributing their time, resources, and ideas to NGOs, students have opportunities to further their personal and professional development through subsequent internships and service projects. This program will be mainly conducted in English.1-Aug 8: Online Course and Due Diligence1) Attend our online philanthropy course2) Work in teams to visit and investigate partner non-governmental organizations (NGOs)3) Interview NGO leaders and staff4) Produce evaluation reports on the NGO candidatesAug 10-15: 6-day conference at The University of Hong KongDuring the conference, Officers will convene for roundtable discussions within committees and make a collective decision on one or more organization(s) to fund. In addition, conference sessions include:1) Interactive workshops led by foundation leaders2) Dialogue with philanthropists from across China and the US3) Site visits to finalist NGOs4) Career mentorship and networking opportunities5) Presentation to a panel of expertsIn addition to attending the course and conference listed above, students can apply to be placed in a 6-8 week internship in summer (starting in June/July).Students will work in consultation with our partner NGOs and social enterprises on site in Hong Kong or mainland China to develop a service project at addresses the need of the organization. This could involve:1)information technology and management2) social media, web design, and PR-fundraising4) program development and feedbacka. Investigate the philanthropic landscape and gain an in-depth understanding of the nongovernment organization (NGO) space in China, in addition to identifying approaches to and opportunities for effective givingb. Strategize through conducting due diligence and needs assessments of promising organizations. Determine a grant-making strategy to address the issue of youth development c. Network with other students and leaders passionate about the philanthropic sector as part of a community of change-makers d. Practice by performing field analysis and collectively contributing concrete resources, skills or services to NGOs e.
